Serial Kisser Emraan Hashmi can undoubtedly be called the controversies’ favorite child. No matter how hard he tries, he gets dragged into some or the other issue. Sometimes it’s related to the dark and intense characters he plays while sometimes his statements do the honor for him.
Recently, the actor found himself surrounded with a new air of hullabaloo. A few days back it was reported that Rani Mukherjee turned down Vishal Bhardwaj and Ekta’s supernatural flick “Dayaan” because she wasn’t willing to work with the serial kisser. Ever since this news of Rani backing out from Vishal’s project leaked out, it became the talk of town.
Finally, Emraan had to stand up for his defense. Clearing the clouds around, he said, “I have no idea who was approached or who rejected or accepted. It is completely the director and the casting department’s call. People might not do a film for their own reasons... There was a loss of an opportunity to be working with her. But, working with actors doesn’t fit on my priority list.
My job is to do justice to my character and my director. Working with particular actors is not my ambition except for directors”.
He clearly stated that he isn’t here to please anyone and star factor doesn’t matter a lot to him. The actor stated that his main aim is to entertain his audience and for that he is definitely not looking forward to build any friendly ties whatsoever! Whoops! He seems to be quite angry!
