Salman Khan's co-star Sana Khan missing after kidnapping accusation

Sana Khan, who was Salman Khan’s favourite contestant in Bigg Boss’ sixth season and also bagged a leading role in his home production Mental, has gone missing since April 30 and the production team is worried about her next shooting schedule for the film.

Sana has been accused of helping her cousin Naved and his friends in an attempt to abduct a 15-year-old girl. Naved became friends with the minor on Facebook and they started hanging out with a mutual group of friends. But Naved proposed marriage to her and she declined. The boy continued to stalk her. The girl shut her Facebook account and completely cut herself off from him. But Naved continued to pursue her, and when she became firm, he issued threats to her.

On April 30, the gang of friends including Naved’s sister Sana, who was at the wheel, stopped the girl when she was on her way back home from her tuition in Sanpada, Navi Mumbai. Naved and his friends tried to drag her into the car, but she managed to free herself.

When she reached home, Naved, his friends and Sana had already reached there and were arguing with her mother. After they left, the girl’s mother lodged a police complaint. Naved and his friends Kshitij and Vismit were arrested the same evening. They were charged with kidnapping, wrongful restraint and trespass.

Sana though has gone underground since then. The police looked for her at her Oshiwara apartment, but she wasn’t there. She has a Mental schedule in Lavasa early next week, and the production team is now worried about the repercussions of the incident. A senior police inspector of Turbhe police station said his team are still looking for Sana.

Angelina Jolie visits anti-landmine charity

Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie’s association with charity work continues! And it looks like she is making sure that her kids, too, follow the same league when they grow up! Angelina was spotted with her kids at the headquarters of an anti-landmine charity in Scotland.

The 36-year old actress has been camped at a 16th century estate with her six children while partner Brad Pitt shoots upcoming horror film ‘World War Z’ in Glasgow – but took some time away from her picturesque surroundings to meet workers from the charity, which helps remove scattered debris from warzones across the world.

Meanwhile, Angelina, being the socially aware lady she is, visited the HALO Trust in Dumfriesshire to meet the workers from the charity, which helps remove landmines and scattered debris from warzones across the world. Jolie was quoted as saying: “It was a privilege to visit the HALO headquarters and meet their committed staff. In the aftermath of war, HALO’s mine-clearing efforts are fundamental to a safe return and community building.”

However, Angelina did not bring all her six children along; she brought the elder children - Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh, to help raise their awareness about the cause.

HALO co-founder and director Guy Willoughby told Life & Style: “She felt it was important for them to learn about land mines in a safe setting…We spent half an hour showing her four older kids what the land mine issues were and what they looked like. Then the kids went to muck around with my kids at the farm.”

Angelina Jolie has been a goodwill ambassador of UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees).

Currently, Angelina Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt, along with their six children, are staying in Scotland since Brad is filming his new zombie movie World War Z.

Rakhi Sawant calls Anna Hazare the 'Ram of Kalyug'

It seems that now the item girl has targeted the Gandhian crusader and left her previous choices - Congress' Rahul Gandhi and yoga guru Baba Ramdev. Drama Queen Rakhi Sawant recently expressed her strong views about Anna Hazare and his civil society team who is fighting against corruption.

Rakhi says,“ Just when things seemed to be moving in the right direction, three musketeers of Team Anna - Prashant Bhushan, Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi went ahead and spoilt everything with their high and mighty attitude! Teen tigaada, kaam bigaada! I really feel Arvind Kejriwal is the Raavan, who is trying to take advantage of Anna Hazare, who is the Ram of Kalyug. Kejriwal has an ulterior motive, and I'm sure he's going to join politics a few months down the line. Time will prove me right.”

Getting concerned about Anna’s health Rakhi says,“Right now, I'm really worried about his health. People forgot Gandhi and remember him only on his birth anniversary. Do you think they will remember Anna forever? Now he must relent and take care of his health. Arre khaa pee ke lado naa! Kejriwal and his cronies are not fasting, I wonder why? They are happily consuming meals and doing bhashanbaazi, whereas poor Anna is hungry for so many days!”

While on the same note, Rakhi contradicts her views. Rakhi says that people should not consider Anna Hazare as god. Rakhi says,“ I have seen many idols of Ganapati being made with Anna's face! My god, that's just not right! Anna, after all, is a human being. And I feel he should give importance to a strong Lokpal Bill, and not allow Kejriwal and company to keep harping about their own version. Arre koi Lakshman Rekha thode hee hai jo ek baar laga di to mit nahin sakti! I pay huge amounts of tax too, and I also want that bribery should be eradicated. Till date, I have never paid any bribery in my life! But, you can't achieve miracles overnight! There are so many strong laws against dowry, rape etc. But, have these things stopped? Anna's team has to respect the Parliament and democratic principles. And Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi etc. must not sabotage this movement!”

Salman Khan is one of the most eligible bachelors of Bollywood and his marriage is a long awaited ceremony. Aamir Khan once said in an interview that he wants Salman Khan to tie the knot and is desperately looking forward to it. Katrina refuses to host reality show

Katirna Kaif is quite popular on the big screen, she is the leading actress right now in Bollywood with some good projects in hand. Despite starring in a number of Hindi films, the British Indian actress is still not very comfortable with the language.

Half of Bollywood including A-listers like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar are busy hosting reality shows, but actress Katrina Kaif says she won't try her hand there as her Hindi is poor.

“I do not take up hosting reality shows as my Hindi is not good, that might become a problem. I am also busy with my movie projects as I do 2-3 of them a year," Katrina said in reply to a fan's question while chatting on Airtel Talk2me.

“I will definitely try if I get any chance,” she added.

The fan asked her why hasn't she applied for an Indian citizenship and Katrina said, "This is a slightly difficult task. All my sisters stay in London. Lets see what happens we will try.”

When a police officer from Nagaland told the 26-year-old actress that she “looks good with Salman Khan”, Katrina said, “Yes, he is a good friend of mine.”

Asin falls flat for Sajid's Subhaan

She’s considered to be Salman Khan’s favourite leading lady, and also Akshay Kumar’s. But ask Asin who her favourite leading man is, and the reply will probably be a prompt “Subhaan”. No, he isn’t an upcoming actor you’re yet to hear of — he’s just producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s nine-year-old son!

Salman Khan is the script writer for Dabangg sequel

The latest buzz in tinsel town is that superstar Salman Khan has once again turned into a script writer for the sequel of his blockbuster film Dabangg.

Ever since the news of the sequel of Dabangg was announced, numerous things have been heard about the film.

Abhinav Kashyap, the director of Dabangg was first kicked out of the sequel. Then Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan stepped in to take up director’s job. The latest we hear is Salman is likely to write the script for Dabangg 2. We have seen his pen power in Veer and it should be a bold decision to do it again. Even Sohail, the younger Khan has some inputs for Dabangg 2 it seems.

When contacted, Arbaaz said, "Yes, the sequel is happening. It's a continuation, so the characters that were initially involved, will be a part of the sequel too." About his absence from Dabangg 2, he said, "If there are any new characters, they will be talked about when things are final."

He further informed that the shooting would start in 2012. "The film will release only in 2013. So what's the beauty of revealing everything before starting the movie?" he said.

Lucknow University Disallows Big B From Lecturing Students

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been denied permission to interact with the students of Lucknow University as part of a promotional event for ‘Aarakshan’. Amitabh Bachchan had to address Lucknow University students on the issue of job reservation to promote Aarakshan, but the varsity has denied permission.

Director Prakash Jha thinks that the university got scared as it's a sensitive issue.

"They didn't know whether we'd be arguing for or against job reservation. It's a thorny issue in that state, I understand. But are we supposed to sweep sensitive issues under the carpet? How will our society develop if there's no debate? I think they just got scared. Don't ask of whom," Jha told Mumbai Mirror.

Jha had already chalked out plans for a Q&A session between Amitabh and the university students.

The director says, "Earlier during the marketing of Rajneeti we were similarly barred from entering academic institutions in Delhi to discuss present day politics. We all know who they were scared of."

Shahid's special 'Mausam' confession

One of the most awaited love stories of the year ‘Mausam’, headlining Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor getting lot of attention from the start of the shoot. Shahid Kapoor says he is sentimentally attached to his actor father Pankaj Kapoor's directorial debut 'Mausam'.

Speaking at an event in Mumbai, Shahid said that apart from playing the lead role in the film, he has helped in every way to make the film as appealing possible.

"It's a film that's very close to my heart. It's a film, which we made as a family together. It's a film where I have given one and a half years of my life. Of course wherever I am required for the film I am there," Shahid told reporters at a promotional shoot of car music system company Pioneer, for which he has been the brand ambassador for the last three years.

Releasing September 16, 'Mausam' is a love story where Sonam Kapoor plays the lead opposite Shahid.

Two other films - Imran Khan's 'Meri Brother Ki Duhlan' and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Rockstar'-were initially scheduled to release September 9. However, 'Rockstar's release has been postponed to November 11.

Shahid is happy that all the three films are not releasing at the same time.

"All the three films were supposed to release at the same time and I am happy that it's not happening so because that's not good for the business," said Shahid.

"Imran's and Ranbir's film are coming and I am curious how their films are. Around the same time 'Mausam' is also coming and I hope people enjoy all the three films," he added.

Vishal Bharadwaj chooses Ajay over Shahrukh

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan teamed up with filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj for his screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s bestseller Two States. After 'One Night At The Call Centre' and '3 Idiots', another Chetan Bhagat’s novel is going to make as a film i.e, '2 States'. '2 States' story about Punjabi who will marry his Tamilian.

And now Grapevines are buzzing hot with the news that Vishal Bhardwaj is entering into a new project with Ajay Devgan and for this collaboration; Shahrukh has been put aside by him.

It was anticipated that Vishal and SRK were planning to begin a new project which was to be based on Chetan Bhagat's ‘2 States’. But due to some reasons this project has now been kept on hold. Ruling out all predictions, Vishal has declared his upcoming movie with Ajay, which will have Anushka Sharma playing the female lead.

Vishal is highly impressed by Anushka’s work and that’s why he declared her as the main lead for this film. He said, “I loved Anushka in “Band Baaja Baaraat”. But more than that, I can't forget her very impressive debut in “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”. She is one of the finest actresses amongst the new lot”.

He further cleared that this movie is a comedy with dark undertones and is based on social satire. As per sources the film will most probably head for shoot next year in mid January.

When asked about sidelining SRK, Vishal justified saying that the project is very special to him and he would love to dedicate his full time to it. But that would only happen once he is free with all prior commitments. As you wish Vishal, and hope SRK manages to free himself for you!

RGV apologises for 'Not A Love Story' steamy scenes

It is known news that the eccentric genius Ramgopal Varma is arriving with his new movie Not A Love Story. Now, it is heard that the film has got a fair share of lovemaking scenes. This has Mahie Gill in the lead along with Deepak Dobriyal.

The film reveals the bold and intense scenes shot between Mahie Gill and Deepak Dobriyal. But it seems Ram Gopal Varma was not comfortable shooting these sequences and sent apologetic message to the leading lady Mahie Gill.

Apparently, RGV sends a sms to his lead actress apologising, for making her enact intense love scenes in the film. Acting uncharacteristically, Ramu sent the actress a text message saying sorry after she had to perform intense love-making sequences.

Apparently the love scenes between the two were so intense and torrid that Ramu left the sets and allowed an assistant to be present until the two actors finished their libidinous business.

Recalling the incident, Mahie laughed, "Ramuji was very apologetic about the love making sequences. I had to reassure him it was fine. Deepak and I were just doing our job. But Ramuji was really disturbed, almost as if he was subjecting a close relative a daughter or a sister to an uncomfortable situation. After Deepak and I finished the love scene, he sent me a message saying sorry."
