Angelina Jolie visits anti-landmine charity

Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie’s association with charity work continues! And it looks like she is making sure that her kids, too, follow the same league when they grow up! Angelina was spotted with her kids at the headquarters of an anti-landmine charity in Scotland.

The 36-year old actress has been camped at a 16th century estate with her six children while partner Brad Pitt shoots upcoming horror film ‘World War Z’ in Glasgow – but took some time away from her picturesque surroundings to meet workers from the charity, which helps remove scattered debris from warzones across the world.

Meanwhile, Angelina, being the socially aware lady she is, visited the HALO Trust in Dumfriesshire to meet the workers from the charity, which helps remove landmines and scattered debris from warzones across the world. Jolie was quoted as saying: “It was a privilege to visit the HALO headquarters and meet their committed staff. In the aftermath of war, HALO’s mine-clearing efforts are fundamental to a safe return and community building.”

However, Angelina did not bring all her six children along; she brought the elder children - Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh, to help raise their awareness about the cause.

HALO co-founder and director Guy Willoughby told Life & Style: “She felt it was important for them to learn about land mines in a safe setting…We spent half an hour showing her four older kids what the land mine issues were and what they looked like. Then the kids went to muck around with my kids at the farm.”

Angelina Jolie has been a goodwill ambassador of UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees).

Currently, Angelina Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt, along with their six children, are staying in Scotland since Brad is filming his new zombie movie World War Z.

Bipasha Basu not missing ex-beau John Abraham

Bipasha Basu, the dusky, husky, hot sexy siren of bollywood who was in a relationship with handsome hunk John Abraham for over a decade, has split from her beau. They were an example of perfect couple for eight long years but some mishap happened between the two and John and Bips called off their relationship.

John got busy to firm his foot in Bollywood while on the other hand Bipasha Basu got busy with her movies and side by side involved in making new friends. She said in an interview that she no longer miss John and has moved on in life.

"Nobody plans a break up or any negative thing in your life, when it happens you deal with it, life is such that it teaches you, it heals you and you move on. I don't miss John," Bipasha said on Zoom's "Superstar Weekends" show.

They starred in films like Mahesh Bhatt's "Jism", "Madhoshi" and "Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal".

Rakhi Sawant calls Anna Hazare the 'Ram of Kalyug'

It seems that now the item girl has targeted the Gandhian crusader and left her previous choices - Congress' Rahul Gandhi and yoga guru Baba Ramdev. Drama Queen Rakhi Sawant recently expressed her strong views about Anna Hazare and his civil society team who is fighting against corruption.

Rakhi says,“ Just when things seemed to be moving in the right direction, three musketeers of Team Anna - Prashant Bhushan, Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi went ahead and spoilt everything with their high and mighty attitude! Teen tigaada, kaam bigaada! I really feel Arvind Kejriwal is the Raavan, who is trying to take advantage of Anna Hazare, who is the Ram of Kalyug. Kejriwal has an ulterior motive, and I'm sure he's going to join politics a few months down the line. Time will prove me right.”

Getting concerned about Anna’s health Rakhi says,“Right now, I'm really worried about his health. People forgot Gandhi and remember him only on his birth anniversary. Do you think they will remember Anna forever? Now he must relent and take care of his health. Arre khaa pee ke lado naa! Kejriwal and his cronies are not fasting, I wonder why? They are happily consuming meals and doing bhashanbaazi, whereas poor Anna is hungry for so many days!”

While on the same note, Rakhi contradicts her views. Rakhi says that people should not consider Anna Hazare as god. Rakhi says,“ I have seen many idols of Ganapati being made with Anna's face! My god, that's just not right! Anna, after all, is a human being. And I feel he should give importance to a strong Lokpal Bill, and not allow Kejriwal and company to keep harping about their own version. Arre koi Lakshman Rekha thode hee hai jo ek baar laga di to mit nahin sakti! I pay huge amounts of tax too, and I also want that bribery should be eradicated. Till date, I have never paid any bribery in my life! But, you can't achieve miracles overnight! There are so many strong laws against dowry, rape etc. But, have these things stopped? Anna's team has to respect the Parliament and democratic principles. And Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi etc. must not sabotage this movement!”

Salman Khan opens up on Marriage

Salman Khan is one of the most eligible bachelors of Bollywood and his marriage is a long awaited ceremony. Aamir Khan once said in an interview that he wants Salman Khan to tie the knot and is desperately looking forward to it. Sallu might not be in a good terms with the Khans but he has not totally ignored the perfectionist’s wish.

He said that he has plans to get hitched but he is not sure when it is going to happen as it also depends on his would-be bride.

Talking about his wedding plans in an interview, Sallu quoted as saying, “….I will definitely fulfill Aamir’s wish that I get married. But you have to wait for a bit now as shaadi kab hogi ye opposite party par bhi depend karta hai.”

Wonder who he's planning to marry? The journo asked, "A man in your position and with your looks can date any girl in the world? Suppose you could, who would you date?"

At this Salman covered his face and responded, "Right now, you have no idea how much I am trying. How much I'm trying... won't tell you for whom, but no luck. Seriously."

Dino Morea not approached for 'Bigg Boss 5'

From few days there is a speculation that Dino Morea will be a part of the show Bigg Boss 5 which is to be aired in Colors.. The channel is considering Dino as one of the housemates. Model-turned-actor Dino Morea says that he has not been approached to participate in reality show Bigg Boss.

"CLARIFICATION: I have not been approached, nor do I have the intention of being part of 'Big Boss', as reported," Dino wrote on microblogging site Twitter.

Rumours that Dino might appear in the fifth season of Bigg Boss started off when he was spotted with the host of the show Salman Khan at Filmcity where the superstar was shooting for another reality show. Dino admits he had gone to meet Salman for business purpose.

Dino posted: "Salman Khan is a friend and my company CoolMaal is doing the film BODYGUARD'S merchandise, hence I was there to meet him."

The new season of Bigg Boss will see actor Sanjay Dutt co-hosting the show with Salman.

Naseeruddin Shah said no to Shoaib Mansoor's 'Bol'

Bol is veteran TV director Shoaib Mansoor's second feature film. His first, Khuda Ke Liye, though a passionate and worthy work, and certainly one that deserved accolades for its bravery in tackling some of Pakistan's most complex social issues, lacked the artistic sophistication required to convincingly tell a story. Bol is all set for Eid release.

News is that Naseeruddin Shah, who has worked with Shoaib in his previously acclaimed ‘Khuda Ke Liye’ was offered the pivotal role of the father ‘Hakim Sahib’ done by Pakistani actor Manzar Sehbai in the movie, but could not do it as he had already signed another movie at the same time.

The actor went on to say, “I have had the good fortune to work in Shoaib Mansoor’s Khude Ke Liye and I consider it to be the most significant film that I’ve done in my life.”

The actor, after watching the movie was heard praising the director’s honest and impeccable work along with the superlative performances by all the actors. He said, “BOL is absolutely the kind of film that Khude Ke Liye should be followed up by. It deals with an even more important statement like faith and empowerment of women. I have seldom seen a statement made with as much power and feeling as this film. This is yet another film to be proud of. I can only find myself wishing I was a part of this film”.

Not only this, the actor loved the movie to such and extent that he is showing the film to his friends and family in a couple days!
